​Software copyright, IT and data protection law occupy an intersection that evolves faster than any codification. That is precisely what fascinated me from the very beginning — and what led me to specialize in this field.

​

During my legal studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and my legal clerkship (Rechtsreferendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, I gained extensive practical experience at international companies in the film, entertainment and media industry.

​

I hold an LL.M. in Information and Media Law from the University of Vienna and am a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), an internationally recognized certification in data protection law.

​

Following my Second State Examination, I served as in-house counsel at an international film and video games company, subsequently at an international film and animation studio, and at a boutique firm specializing in IT and data protection law.

 

In 2024, I participated in the IP Summer Program at Stanford Law School, where my working paper "Copyright Issues Concerning Cheat Software: A Comparative Analysis of EU and US Law" was published. I completed the CopyrightX program at Harvard Law School and the Berkman Klein Center in June 2025.

 

In September 2025, I earned my doctorate from the University of Vienna with a dissertation on European software copyright law.
