About.

During my legal studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and my legal clerkship (Rechtsreferendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, I gained extensive practical experience at leading international companies in the film-, entertainment and media industry.

I deepened my professional qualifications through an LL.M. in Information and Media Law at the University of Vienna and specialized training in IT law. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), I also hold an internationally recognized certification in data protection law.

 

Following my Second State Examination, I served as in-house counsel at an international film and video game company, then at a film and animation studio, and at a boutique firm specializing in IT and data protection law. 

 

In 2024, I participated in the IP Summer Program at Stanford Law School, where my working paper "Copyright Issues Concerning Cheat Software: A Comparative Analysis of EU and US Law" was published. I successfully completed the prestigious CopyrightX program at Harvard Law School and the Berkman Klein Center in June 2025.

In September 2025, I earned my doctorate from the University of Vienna with a dissertation on European software copyright law.

Thesis on the necessity of adapting European Software Copyright Law.

 

Completed all required seminars on current IT law topics, as well as European and International Business and Technology Law – all with top marks (grade1).

June 2025

CopyrightX–Harvard Law School & Berkman Klein Center

Successfully completed CopyrightX, a twelve week networked course offered annually since 2013 in collaboration with Harvard Law School and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.

August 2024

International Summer Program: "Understanding U.S .IP Law"–Stanford Law School

Successfully completed an intensive summer program offering in-depth insights into U.S. intellectual property law. Topics included copyright (with a focus on internet-related issues), trademark protection both offline and online, patent law, trade secrets, and design protection. Additional modules addressed IP licensing and technology transfer, venture capital in Silicon Valley, IP litigation, and practical exposure to the inner workings of tech companies in the region.

University of Vienna –Postgraduate Center

LL.M. with a specialization in IT, IP Law and Data Privacy. Completed a thesis focusing on selected intellectual property and data protection aspects related to the Metaverse. Coursework covered a broad range of subjects, including Foundations of Information Technology, Technical Foundations of Legal Information, Data Protection and Data Security Law, Civil Law Principles in Information and Media Law, Advanced Copyright and Media Law, and Telecommunications Law.
